A review of an installation completed in June 2025
For this project, we travelled to Hem, in northern France, in June to install an 11 m wide and 8 m high Nolimit screen in the ‘Le Zéphyr’ cultural centre.
On site, our team, in collaboration with the audiovisual integration company VS Scènes & Audiovisuel, assembled and installed the screen in a single day.
The screen is equipped with a non-perforated Super Matt White fabric for high-precision projection without compromising visual quality. The entire system is mounted on a motorised pole, allowing it to blend seamlessly into the stage environment.
Key points to consider for a successful installation
The quality of a projection screen is not enough to guarantee a good image, its installation plays an equally essential role.
The positioning of the screen has a direct and considerable influence on the visual effect. Rough installation, even with a very good screen, can ruin the projection experience.

Use the right tools
A laser level is essential to ensure perfectly straight positioning and precise alignment, whether the screen is wall-mounted or suspended from a pole. And even after fixing, a final laser check is essential to ensure that the image is perfectly aligned. The naked eye is not enough.
Working in a clean, dust-free environment
When a screen is assembled on site, dust on the floor can easily infiltrate or grip the fabric, degrading its condition from the beginning. Cleanliness of the room is essential. It is also highly recommended that the installation site has an ambient temperature of between 18 and 22 degrees. This will allow the fabric to stretch properly and further prevent wrinkling or distortion.
Handle the fabric with clean hands
It seems obvious, but it's not! A canvas that is marked as soon as it is installed can be irretrievable. Make sure that your hands are perfectly clean when handling the screen.

Adjusting the mounting pole
If the screen is suspended from a pole, the pole must be perfectly level. Even a slight tilt can be very noticeable on the screen.
Poor positioning in relation to the video projector
Focal length, projection angle, lens shift... everything needs to be adjusted to avoid a blurred, truncated or distorted image.
That's why we always recommend that our screens are installed by our own teams or, failing that, by technicians specifically trained in our products.
And for screens over 12 metres, installation must be carried out by Multivision Screens or by an integrator trained in advance by one of our qualified technicians.
Because a great image is also a perfectly controlled installation.
